Terminator: Genisys is already becoming one of the years most debated films and with the release of a new trailer, the debate is only going to escalate. BEHOLD... John Connor... Terminator?
As we can see here in the new trailer, the brand new terminator being introduced to the franchise in all its microbot glory is not the previously assumed role for Matt Smith's avatar of Skynet. No, this film is taking a hard turn in an effort to seemingly erase the history of the Terminator franchise and personally, I like it.
I'm a huge fan of the first two films, not so much the third, and hell I'll even give Salvation a pass(as a stand alone film that has nothing to do with anything else in the franchise.) This new entry has me on the edge of my seat and I can't wait to how this film fits in to the rest of the franchise.
What do you think? Is microbot John Connor going too far? Is Arnold too old? Or is this Terminator: Genisys going to bring something back to the franchise we haven't seen since The Sarah Connor Chronicles?
